Before coming to Augusta, GA, Ken lived in several cities and was able to participate in the art scene. Ken started his art training by attended the Atlanta School of Arts. Then relocating to Washington, D.C., Ken attended Corcoran School of Arts and studied portrait and abstract art painting. He was able to spend time studying with renowned oil painter Orlando S. Lagman. He later traveled to San Diego, CA, and over the next 20 years worked solely with Air Brush an experimenting with different surfaces and mediums. Ken also attended San Diego City College taking Fine Arts Classes and focusing on air brush techniques. Ken further his studies at the Jeffrey R. Watts Atelier of the Arts School, studying figures, portrait sketching and painting. Ken is now painting at David Mascaro's Studio where he's expanding his knowledge and enhancing his artistic career.
