Kit Lintin

Kit Lintin (b.1996, Yorkshire) is a contemporary oil painter based in London. Kit’s practice is informed by the principles and techniques of traditional still-life painters, marrying these qualities with the playful storytelling found in surrealism.

Drawing inspiration from objects and their ability to evoke our imagination, her paintings combine everyday objects with forms of a symbolic nature. Through the careful consideration of each composition, she uses the medium of oil paint to embed a feeling into the canvas, revealing the intimate folds of reality, charm in the unexpected and mystery in the shadows.

Kit has a Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts from Loughborough University and has since exhibited throughout the UK, highlights including; Mall Galleries, The Gallery at Green & Stone and Henley Regatta. She has been commissioned by brands including Burlington Arcade and Champagne Bollinger to produce unique artworks for commercial projects.
