About Lee Hardman
As an artist, I am self-taught and use my self a lot in my work. Humanity, the individual and society are what influence me and my painting. The sitter as a physical subject is mostly irrelevant as they tend to be introspective considerations. They are considerations of personal experience and feeling. They are considerations of the mundane and that which connects us all.
After studying pharmacy at Nottingham University, I registered with the Royal Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain in 1999. As an artist I am self-taught.
