I am a practicing Contemporary artist and a Visual Art High school teacher at a school in Johannesburg, South Africa. I have been a practicing artist for 10 years now, working primarily with oil paint.

My artworks are referenced from old family photographs, that are grainy and have a sepia hue over them. My use of bright and vivid colours aims to bring the memories that these photographs hold. The blurriness and vagueness of the figures painted allows the viewer to step into the painting themselves and relive their own familiar memories.
