Painter from Belfast, often using honesty in locality and imaging, reflecting a true 'scene', even if juxtaposed with inconclusive impressionistic subjectivity of the eye and therefore a contrast with traditional movements in art; entwined in an understanding of refusing the 'ugly' side of life for naturalism, imaginative sightseeing on a canvas world, and as arts practitioner a reader of the arts movements and figures that placed their own person, deepest views, as visible in inspiration. Paintings include empty, colour-idealized landscapes of coasts and backdrops of mountains into the point of post-impressionism, acquiring similarity to the city itself where the person is placing forth his whole attachment to what it is: impressionism's quiet drinking corners, or the figure on a 'road' into the empty wilderness, and often creating a surreal side of arrangement out of the average into a search for 'originality.'
Art student from Belfast and of birthplace in Nyack, that of colour overtakes the realism into a separate unique canvas, a more revealing world than the real.
