About Pete Mountford

Born in London in 1960, Been making art sincemy mid twenties. Originally I studied Ceramicsbut more recently painting & digital media.Curated numerous exhibitions, includingFounding Director Art 3 (2001-07- approach utilises sequence andcorrelation in relation to existing systems;such as the cycles of nature and landscape,numbers, energy waves, colour therapybottles. Works often involve dialoguesbetween individual works or from moduleswithin multi-component works.


. Educated at Duncan of Jordanstone collegeof Art, (Dundee BA, 1992) and at MontclairState University, NJ, USA (MA, 1995).
