Petra Werner

Born in Sweden 1961, musician and painter since the age of five. Phd in aesthetics with a doctoral thesis on swedish television history and aesthetics, Stockholm. My different art "languages", music, writing, film and painting, have influenced eachother. I use mixed technics with different materials as well as more traditional oil. I sometimes start with a certain idea but more often I wish to let the painting find it self by working for a rather long time on the same picture. Many of my paintings have special framework, made by my friend Nina Richter, educated in the US.
