Randy Polumbo lives and works in NYC & Josha Tree, California. His interest in recycling/transformation reaches back to juvenile mad science projects to giant techno-organic, erotic solar glass and crystal gardens, for Art Basel, Burning Man, Museum of Sex and private collections, and building off-the-grid living environments. Polumbo is a LEED accredited master builder and advocate for solar power and renewable energy, and a uniquely alchemical visual artist, inextricably weaving passion and practice. A graduate of The Cooper Union School of Art, Polumbo especially resonates with New York City where folks are quite literally consumed by their desire and appetite for substances or sensory experience or other gain, and everything can be a libidinal object in its highly charged and condensed economy.
