Raven Skye Mcdonough

Raven Skye McDonough is an award winning Florida artist with deep ties to her native New England upbringing. Her love of experimentation with color, texture and pattern, exhibits itself through her mixed media paper collages and paintings.

Raven Skye was recently chosen as " Florida Artist of the Year 2013" by Exploring TOSCA arts & culture magazine.

Ms. McDonough's deep appreciation of human nature, animals, and the world around her, is a testament to her abilities to see beyond the naked eye. The sensitivity taken with her subject matter is conveyed in such a provocative and fun way, that it inspires the viewer to discover each clever layer her art has to reveal.

Ms. McDonough is dedicated to working with the highest standard of museum quality materials. She utilizes innovative archival techniques to permanently protect the quality and integrity of her mixed media collages. This is one of the many ways Raven Skye McDonough is truly, redefining the art of collage.

Raven Skye has continued her art education and personal style evolution by studying with other accomplished and well known artists. They include, ( in no particular order ), New Bedford painter Bertrum Towle, in New York with visionary artists Martina Hoffman and the late Robert Venosa, on Monhegan Island, ME & LaNapoule France with oil painter Stan Moeller, in Cambridge, MA with Acrylic painter Ellen Rolli and with California plein air artist Elio Camacho.
