For many of his paintings, Tesibius utilizes a combination of traditional brushwork with a hands-on screenprinting process in order to reveal how the human experience is the main driver of socially-defined beauty. The process he uses creates slight deviations in each piece in the same way that nature creates human individuality. This provides Tesibius with a result that is both mechanical and organic.
Highly influenced by advertising, fashion, and street art, Tesibius finds himself dissecting the image of beauty into its individual parts so that each part by itself could be seen as both abstract and beautiful. He then brings those individual parts together and arranges them to form an image full of lines and rhythms that the eye cannot help but follow. It is this junction between the eye, the brain, and the social construct of beauty that Tesibius explores in many of his paintings. In others, he adds an element of mathematical code and patterns to the mix for a heightened experience and hidden narrative.
