Born In Bath, UK.
For a while I have been making completely new work away from my Polar travels, some inspired by my wilderness garden, others from my imagination.
A passion for Polar regions led to painting expeditions to Svalbard, and NE Greenland with Inuit hunters, as well as paid lecturing on Expedition Tour Ships, and as Artist in Residence and paid staff in Antarctica.
Funding by the Quark Programme, paid lecturing, workshops, and commissioned portraits and other painting sales. Member of the Arctic Club.
Studied art in London at St Martins, Ravensbourne, and
Hornsey Colleges of Art. Dip AD,+ 1 yr post grad.
2010 Selected Member Society Women Artists (SWA)
2009 Selected Associate Member SWA.
2008 selected as member of the United Society of Artists(UA)
Regularly exhibits in London with the Society of Women Artists, and the Pastel Society at the Mall Galleries, and other London venues, and galleries across the country. .
