EXHIBITIONS
I was born in Mexico City and moved to the Bay area 12 years ago. My passion in life is paint; I started painting when I was a young girl. I have no idea how or why, but I knew I needed to have a brush in my hand. I have not stopped painted since. I am in love with nature, and I am amazed with the colors and shapes that occur naturally in the landscape. My main mediums are oil, acrylic ink, and sometimes pastels. I am constantly looking for abstraction in nature. I go from one idea to another - my mind is always wandering around colors, and then I need to find a canvas or a piece of paper and set them free.
Because life is sometimes hard, when I paint I want to express joy, love and beauty. Because life is not easy, my intent is to show optimism in my paintings. I like to use bright colors, and I try to make my paintings glow. I want to make the space that I paint sing and dance.
