Liana Asatryan

Liana Asatryan was born in Armenia in 1981 and her desire to become a painter can be traced back to her childhood. She enrolled in the Armenian Academy of the Fine Arts, where she began to study painting in 1999.Three years later, in 2013 , she received a Master of Fine Arts degree. From a young age Liana has believed, “You can create anything once you see it in your mind.” She explores the unlimited potentiality of human beings. The center of her paintings is human.

Her art is visual poetry bursting forth with relentless energetic expression.

Indeed, Liana has developed her own visual vocabulary and inimitable style. Liana invites us to view the world as an existential being and time. Through her paintings we experience our universe with a new expansive and compelling perspective.
