Denys Metelin

I am a Ukrainian artist working with acrylic painting, drawing, and contemporary interpretations of urban landscapes. My work focuses on the rhythm, character, and atmosphere of cities — how architecture, movement, and light come together to shape the places we call home.

I was born in Crimea and later moved to Lviv, and this journey across different regions of Ukraine continues to influence my artistic voice. The architecture of Kyiv, Lviv, Kharkiv, Dnipro and other Ukrainian cities often becomes the foundation of my visual world. I reimagine familiar spaces through bold colors, futurist accents, and a sense of floating or suspended motion, creating scenes that feel both real and dreamlike.

My practice spans painting, illustration, murals, and experimental digital formats. I am drawn to the energy of modern urban culture and the emotional connection people have with their surroundings. Each piece reflects my fascination with cities not only as physical structures but as living environments full of stories, contrasts, and possibilities.
