From an early age, my art has related the human condition to nature and the environment. I try to create beauty and poetry through love of colour, a mysterious tension, allegory and pantheism.
I was taught by Tom Wood and David Walker-Barker, and learnt much from George Wilson, who was tutored at the Royal College of Art by Gilbert Spencer, amongst other great artists.
Nature can seem cruel in it's journey towards entropy and it can reveal both society's follies and nobility. It is where we can find ourselves, for it just 'is' and should show us the way.
