Natalia Kovalenko

Natalia Kovalenko is an artist, born in 1971 in Kiev, Ukraine. Natalia studied painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Kiev and graduated from in 2005. Now she is engaged in painting, drawing and related techniques. In her works, Natalia uses traditional means of visual expression, laid down in the 20th century. She emphasizes the importance of gesture and expressive brushstroke, exploring the relationship between performance, man and nature. Natalya insists that the painter need to write from nature. ... Her landscapes are painted with the same passion and emotional affection as representations of figures or abstract compositions. For Natalia, an emotional connection with each theme is a prerequisite for painting. Now, in 2020, Natalya is working simultaneously on several cycles with the titles: "My Little Motherland" and "Days of Life".
