Vladimir Kuchinskiy

Modern Russian artist Vladimir Alexandrovich Kuchinsky was born in 1958 in the city of Moscow. From 1990 - 1995 he wrote to order for private persons and restored icons for churches in Moscow. Since mid-1995, V. Kuchinsky has been moving from tempera painting (partially preserving the technique of icon painting, which can be seen from such works as "Our Lady" and "Seraphim Sarovsky") to easel oil painting. He studies the work of old masters, different directions and picturesque techniques, developing individual, easily recognizable writing style. From 2007-2021 he painted custom paintings for private collections in Russia, France, Germany.

In 1976 he graduated from the Moscow Art College, in which he studied drawing, painting and composition under the guidance of an experienced teacher Yu. N. Sedyshev.
After graduation, he continued to study at the art studio at the House of Culture named after Chkalov.
In 1989-1990 he studied at the school of icon painting and restoration under the direction of G.V. Zhirinkov, a student of I.E. Grabar.

In 1995, paintings participated in an exhibition of Moscow artists in a gallery on Kashirskaya.
Since 1995 - 2009 Paintings were exhibited and sold in galleries and salons of Moscow, a salon on Kiev "Kutuzovsky Prospekt," a gallery on Kitay Gorod, a salon on ul. 25 years of October.
In 2014, paintings were exhibited in the Gostiny Dvor gallery.
