Frederique Lorain

I am a French oil painting artist. Both my parents are artists. My father drew theater and Opera costumes for over thirty years, and painted as a hobby, all his life. My mother makes sculptures .
They both continue their art in their atelier in Normandy.
I always enjoyed drawing...It was my favorite and best discipline in school.I remember feeling proud and being admired by my teachers and students.it is only much later in my life that I decided to paint full time...it is my life , my passion. I want to progress as much as possible, all my life...reach my highest potential.

I did a large portrait of the tennis man Rafael Nadal, which is in his private collection.

I have an exhibition which started the 26 th of November and ending the 18 th of December 2010, at the Ludwig Trossaert Art Gallery in Antwerp.
The director of the Modern Art Museum, Ernest Van Buynder, gave an introduction speech at theVernissage .
