I am creating pictures from mirrors. To do so, I am using an old technique that was used in the making of Venetian mirrors.

I enjoy working with glass. Glass is my whole life. I am always looking for new possibilities and forms so I can express myself better.

With my work, I am following the historic tradition of the production of Venetian mirrors in the Czech Republic. During my journey of making mirror pictures, I moved from dealing with the functionality of the mirror and focus only on its decoration form. Besides other things, I want to show that even the old and exacting technologies can be used in modern art and can be preserved for the future. I want to bring beauty to people’s life.

1993 - today - I am working in my own workroom with my co-worker and we created our company Skleo.cz
