As an artist I work with physicality. My paintings enter into a dialogue with a long history of rethinking female beauty. My painting practice is situated on the verge of aesthetic and social, beyond the bounds of pure aesthetics. Refusal to concretize cultural and racial codes, turning to the body as a prototype of the human is a kind of inclusion, through which I appeal to current ideological discourses. There is no place for irony and arbitrary pathos in my works, each of them is a quiet, sincere glorification of beauty.
