Wen Shi

Born in 1992, Wen moved to London in 2015, initially to study fashion design. However, their creative path took a transformative turn, leading them to embrace fine art as their true medium of expression. Drawing from the technical foundations of fashion, Wen brings a unique attention to detail and composition to their paintings, merging the worlds of design and art seamlessly.

Wen’s work is deeply influenced by the observation of life—capturing moments where joy and sadness coexist. Their art often carries a subtle melancholy, reflecting the struggles and quiet resilience that are part of everyday existence. Every painting tells a story, where outward calm conceals inner emotions, creating a sense of tension between containment and release.

In addition to their visual art, Wen is also an accomplished storyteller.
