Joan Ferri

I am a Self-taught painter born in Alcoi, Alicante, Spain.
Since I was little I have had many artistic concerns. When I finished Basic Education, I entered in the Municipal School of Fine Arts of my city, studying there for three years, where I learned various artistic techniques and practiced natural drawing, the basis of every plastic artist.
A few years later and having matured artistically, I decided to exhibit my works in art galleries, back then my specialty where still lifes, holding up to eight exhibitions between 2003 and 2008.
For work reasons I had to leave this exciting world for a period of 15 years.
At the end of 2020 I began to draw and paint with totally new ideas, forgetting about the subjects that I painted in my previous stage. Currently I am passionate about landscapes and seascapes, but I do not close the doors to more and different topics. Since I have returned I have started to paint in technical watercolor that I am passionate about.
