The artist practices painting and drawing. She specialises in portaits as well as other figurative and abstract paintings using oil paints, watercolours and pastels.
She is the author of over 150 portaits (mostly oil on canvas and also other technics) . She has painted portaits both for institutions as for private collectors.
Magdalena Armata had 22 individual exhibitions and several collective exhibitions.
The artist is a member of the Polish Artists Association.
Her works are exhibited in The Museum of the History of Katowice, the Archidiocese Museum in Katowice, The Museum in Racibórz and in The Pszczyna Culture Center as well as in several private collections in Poland and abroad. They have also been presented and discussed on TV, radio programs and in newspapers.
Magdalena Armata is a 1979 graduate of Professor Tadeusz Grabowski's Studio of Graphic Design and Professor Andrzej Pietsch's Studio od Graphic Arts (the Faculty of Graphic Arts in Katowice a branch of the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow).
