Michał Staszczak

I am a sculptor living in Wrocław (Poland). I create assemblage sculptures, bas-reliefs and installations cast in metal - iron, bronze or aluminium. In the creative process, I also use 3D design and 3D printing technology.

I am a graduate of the sculpture department at the Eugeniusz Geppert Academy of Art and Design in Wrocław (Poland). Diploma in 2005 in the studio of prof. Leon Podsiadły, an annex from a small sculpture in the studio of prof. Jacek Dworski. Since 2006, I have been employed at my alma mater, where I currently run an art foundry. In 2019, I obtained the title of associate professor in fine arts. In the years 2016-2020, I was the head of the Department of Sculpting Techniques at the Academy of Art and Design in Wrocław.
