Tatiana Nefedova

My name is Tatiana Nefedova, I am an artist. I was born and grew up in the small town of Kotovo, in the Volgograd region. At the age of 24, I moved to the city of military glory-Volgograd. I loved to draw since childhood, I was good at conveying portrait similarity and basic facial features. I tried oil painting for the first time in 2019 and it captured me so much!Words cannot convey these sensations from contact with natural material, with this oily texture, dense and thick strokes, this flexibility and pliability of the oil makes it possible to remove the layer and apply it again until you achieve the desired result.The process of creating paintings can be compared to meditation, deep immersion in the self-present.I drew everything in a row:nature, people, animals, birds. It was as if I was trying to understand my basic level of artistic knowledge.Over time, it became clear that I want to know and be able to do much more! And at the end of 2019, I found a teacher and mentor Gennady Chumichev, an abstract artist.He taught me new artistic techniques and, perhaps, the most important thing-to think, reason and immerse myself in the picture.Thanks to his influence, my emotional style of painting was formed.The basis of my creativity ...
