Rocco Scarcella

Miami based French artist Rocco was born and raised in Nice from an Italian family.
Very creative at his early age, Rocco was attracted, fascinated by 19/20 century artists particularly inspired by surrealism/cubism movements and master as Picasso, Fernand leger, Cocteau and Americans expressionism as Basquiat.
Though Rocco chose to pursue a practical, short but successful, carrier in economy/business and finance. Quickly, feeling suffocated, he decided to go back to his first love: being creative, being an artist. Always fascinating by geometric forms, colors, fashion and hair texture, Rocco changed direction of carrier and became a very successful Hair designer wining multiple awards in France.

Rocco moved to Paris, lived in Montmartre, pursue his passion for hair and fashion, met incredible talents and artists and worked in collaboration with the fashion industry.
Surrounded by museum, culture and artists that influences his artistic vision, he kept drawings as much as he recalls like a necessity.

In 2006 Rocco moved to USA to work for a high-end French franchise and then on his own, as a successful hair designer that fulfilled his thirst for creativity for most of the time until Covid and the world shutdown. Lockdown...
