“Art, for me, has no specific form nor technique. There’s no right or wrong way. When I paint, I feel the connections to the subjects or images I see and feel. Thus, my emotions are expressed in the artworks.”

I am an upcoming Singaporean artist and am currently residing in Singapore. I am entirely a self-taught artist, specializing in acrylic painting on canvas.

When little, I was exposed to different art forms by my mother, a secondary school art teacher. Mediums included comic drawing, wood work, fabrics painting, and pen doodling.

Art has always been my biggest fervor. I was able to see through the inspirations I learned from my mother as well as the year spent in an art school. Having that mix of influences enables me to have enough space to add my own personality. It is just really who I am.

My paintings reflect exactly the images of what I capture with my own eyes, thus, creating a juxtaposition between reality and imagination. With a deep understanding of nature, I am able to properly elucidate my love, feeling and passion through the process of painting.

At 13 years old, I attended a year of still life art at Baharuddin Vocational Institute, which was Singapore’s first tertiary school dedicated to manual and applied arts.
