Andrew Gottlieb

I have been painting and drawing for over fifty years. I began my studies with Norman Raeben, the son of the renowned Jewish writer, Sholem Alecheim. Later, I went to the Art Students’ League in New York City where I studied with Gregory D’Alessio, Marshal Glasier, Michael Burban, and won first prize in one of Art Student Leagues prominent shows. My works have since been shown in group and one man shows throughout New York City. In 1996, my work was featured in a group show in The State Museum of The History of Saint Petersburg Museum in The Rumiantsev Palace

Prizes/Honors
Had a drawing in the Art Students' League brochure while in
D'Alessio's class.
Won first prize in a drawing show while in Glasier's class.
