Julie Rami is a French artist born in 1987 based in a small town in France.
His experience working for a games company gives his works a distinctive meaning and a desire to break free from societal norms.
This technique called “Bokeh” (inspired by blur in photography) allows you to blur a plane or an element of the work. For her, it's a way of placing her characters in a cottony universe, of transporting the viewer into a mist made of emotions and imagination.
With influences ranging from Charlie Chaplin to Pop Art, Rami's work transports the viewer into a world where imagination and emotion take center stage.
It captures the essence of human emotion and the imagination of the body, freeing itself from conventional boundaries.
