Simrah Farrukh is a San Francisco based artist / photographer whose images are a reflection of the delicate, yet compelling ways in which she views the world. She is interested in how identity and community intersect with fashion and beauty to form a narrative. Inspired by the elegance, grace and intimacy of Pakistani poetry and her Muslim upbringing, Simrah hopes to create softness in an otherwise antagonistic world.
