Hans Lee

Hans Lee is a Korean-American artist based in New York City. Lee was raised in the farmlands of the Midwest where observations of the complexities of nature informed later academic explorations in sciences and the arts. The formalistic underpinnings in a scientific classification of the beautiful defines the rigor in Lee’s artistic expression of the desire to tame nature with order. The history of art and philosophy is rich with these same pursuits, and Lee humbly practices in this lineage of increasing complexities in our understandings of these disciplines.
