Carlos Vázquez Ruckstuhl (Mexico 1986).

His work ranges between painting, drawing and ceramics.
Moved by the psychology of Carl Gustav Jung and his theories on symbols; seeks to establish a bridge with the viewer that crosses borders, languages and cultural barriers. Aiming directly at the collective subconscious, it conjures images that spark an ancestral language that unites us as a species on this planet, establishing a dialogue between the forces of nature, the universe and the spirit that resides in us
and in everything that surrounds us.

Its lines, colors and shapes give body to a series of images that at first glance seem simple and synthetic but when you stop to contemplate them and focus your attention on their elements and composition, they reveal a hidden meaning that alludes to each and every one of us. His training as an industrial designer has given him tools to build planes, bodies and shapes with a minimalist synthesis that delivers very specific messages.

Carlos Vázquez lives and works in Oaxaca City. He studied in City of Mexico at Centro de diseño, cine y televisión (CENTRO). Has participated in exhibitions
in Mexico City, Monterrey, Oaxaca and France.

Formerly trained in industrial design in CENTRO de diseño, cine y televisión (2008) he has been constantly seeking to express ideas through drawing and design, from tiny sketches all the way to huge murals.
