I began my journey in photography with a deep love for historic processes, particularly Platinum printing, drawn to its rich tonal range, archival quality, and the inherent beauty of the prints. Over 25 years later, I now use digital photography to explore color and tonalities in ways that were once unimaginable. The flexibility of digital media allows me to push the boundaries of artistic expression, combining the technical precision of modern tools with the timeless inspiration of masters like Edward Weston, Ansel Adams, Dorothea Lange, and W. Eugene Smith.

My images embrace subtle details of color and texture, often incorporating atmospheric backgrounds that evoke a painterly quality. I am passionate about capturing dancers in motion, focusing on their expressions, movement, and energy with vibrant dynamism. My love for architecture, particularly baroque design, informs the clarity and elegance in my work, with each image showcasing intricate details and technical precision.

Ultimately, my photography is a blend of past and present, rooted in classical techniques yet fueled by the creative possibilities of modern technology.

BFA in Photography from the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) and an MFA from the Academy of Art University (AAU) in San Francisco.
