I entered the world of Art years ago, as a teenager, and that took me to study BA of Visual Art’s. I’m still as passionate about the visual arts, mixed media and art of letters – as when I started. Pens, nibs, and brushes are my passion, but I can just as easily be creative with a twig from a tree or a single piece of straw and recently I have found metal sculpting. At the moment I live in the middle of Finnish forest, in a small log home, it gives me limitless source of ideas and inspiration. Also, I’m a ”California” girl, lived there few years near Sacramento. My pieces are usually strong, by color or form, one of a kind pieces. Art is born from my heart, unconscious mind which is connected with universum and these pieces leaves hopefully a feelings to your soul and tells you a story.
I do also Art photography, and the principles of design and composition are the same in that field as in the visual arts. It is a joy for me to be able to blend many skills as a photographer and as a artist, applying many years of study in each to create original, inspirational art – art that has gained me some international exposure through magazine articles and illustrations, exhibits, and many delighted clients in Finland and overseas.
