Irina Jigilo

I hail from the southern Polesie region of Belarus. My journey into photography began at the age of 10 when my father gifted me a Kodak camera for her birthday. What started as snapshots of friends, street cats, dogs, and unsuspecting passersby has evolved into a lifelong passion.

My approach remains rooted in curiosity: I roam, observe, and capture the humorous, the poignant, the beautiful, and the imperfect. Currently, my artistic focus delves into exploring femininity and its inherent power, which she likens to a divine essence. For me, photography is not just an art form but also a profound tool for self-discovery.

From 2007 to 2012, I pursued my studies at Minsk Linguistic University, specializing in French language education.
