My name is Francesca, and I was born on 1980, in Orbetello, a charming town nestled in the natural beauty of the Tuscan Maremma. Growing up surrounded by the vibrant colors of the sea, the unique hues of the lagoon, and the authentic beauty of my homeland nurtured my passion for art and painting from an early age.

My preferred medium is oil painting, which allows me to delve deeply into emotions through a palette of saturated, vivid, and powerful colors. Each piece is inspired by a personal experience or a memory that has profoundly touched me. The sea, my travels, and an intimate connection with nature are recurring themes in my work—a reflection of my inner world and my dynamic, passionate personality.

I love using color not only to communicate vitality but also to convey messages of hope, energy, and authenticity. My paintings celebrate the beauty that surrounds us and invite viewers to see the world through eyes filled with wonder.

My artistic journey has been deeply enriched by years of dedicated study in a traditional art studio, where I honed my skills in oil painting. Under the guidance of experienced mentors, I embraced the Impressionist technique, learning to use color to masterfully simulate light and shadow, capturing the essence and emotion of each subject.

I have also studied and practiced the ancient glazing technique of the old masters, layering translucent colors to achieve depth and luminosity. Alongside this, I have explored alla prima techniques, painting wet-on-wet to bring immediacy and vibrancy to my work. These contrasting approaches have allowed me to develop a style that combines the timeless elegance of classical methods with the energy and spontaneity of modern expression.

This artistic education has profoundly shaped my creative process, giving me the tools to bring life, emotion, and authenticity to each painting.
