Hitomi's works are based on showing poetry in humanity by using artificial objects such as tiles or invented devices.
Her recent abstract paintings indicate the fragility of a peaceful flat state, nowadays, because of pollution, terror, political decisions or economic crisis, there are little ground where we can live safely.
As a result of focusing on the light and shadow of our self, her works shine with the praise of existence and produce a gradation in order to reconciles two conflicting principles: black and white, male and female, old and new, life and death...as Hitomi believes our universe consists in the mixture and balance of all these elements.
