Kirsten Heuschen

My work takes place in the realm of experimental photography. My approach is that of an intuitive intervention without an actual photo camera. I experiment and play with light and light-sensitive materials, the principal elements of photography. The key element is the exposure – in this very moment something material and immaterial merges; Exploring this vital polarity is my core impulse and constitutes the central theme within my work.
