Sally Walker

Sally Walker graduated from high school and university in Tempe Arizona. She then went to Alaska where she taught high school, college, and university. She lived above the Arctic Circle for 13 years. She has taught several subjects including art for 4 years. She spent summers on Cortes Island, BC beginning in 1984. In 2001 she moved permanently to Canada on Vancouver Island and taught at Maxwell International Bahai School. She is a Baha'i and this perspective has had a major influence on her worldview. She has been studying painting on a fulltime basis for the past several years. She has exhibited and sold paintings from Parksville to Victoria.

She has bachelor's and master's degrees in the fields of biology and ecology. She has studied art: painting, drawing, and art history at the University of Victoria, Vancouver Island School of Art, Vancouver Island University, and from several artists on Vancouver Island.
