Siong was a self-taught Indonesian painter whose work lives on through a collection of deeply expressive oil paintings rich in mythology, spirituality, and classical influence. Born with a natural gift for visual storytelling, Siong spent decades exploring the human experience, nature, and faith through his art — often without formal training but with an unrelenting devotion to his craft.
His studio was modest, yet his imagination was vast. He drew inspiration from a wide array of sources: biblical scenes, Eastern legends, Western classical masterpieces, and the natural world.
