Welcome to My World – Art from the Heart of Idar-Oberstein

Hello! Deeply rooted in the picturesque landscape of Idar-Oberstein, Germany, this is where I live and work. Born in 1982, painting is much more than just a hobby for me – it's a language of my soul and a vital counterbalance to my daily life. In my home studio, my personal sanctuary for creativity, I create expressive works in acrylic on canvas alongside my professional career.

My art primarily moves between the fascinating world of abstract forms and colours and the calming beauty of landscape painting. For me, nature isn't just a subject, but my constant source of inspiration. During walks through the local woods and hills around Idar-Oberstein, often accompanied by my husband and our two dogs – one of whom gives me a unique perspective on the world without sight – I gather impressions, moods, and ideas. These moments of tranquility and observation flow directly into my paintings, sometimes as tangible scenes, sometimes as pure emotional abstraction.
