Thierry Crochet

I started photography in 2012/2014 with a Canon 550d.
Very quickly, portraiture and black and white became obvious to me.

Photography came as a space for exchange, freedom and art around what I can imagine of the female world. I work with few models, but they are always strong and respectful collaborations…

My favorite theme : women’s lives !!! What can be beautiful and artistic in everyday life.

J’ai démarré la photo en 2012/2014 avec l’achat d’un Canon 550d.
Très vite, le portrait et le noir et blanc se sont imposés à moi.

La photographie est venue comme un espace d’échange, de liberté artistique autour de ce que je peux imaginer du monde féminin. Je travaille avec peu de modèles, mais ce sont toujours des collaborations fortes et respectueuses …

Mon thème favori : la vie des femmes !!! Ce qui peut être beau et artistique dans la vie de tous les jours.

Technical training for almost 20 years (industry)
I have been meeting women for 10 years to photograph them.
In a photography club for 2 years to learn about studio photography

2024 - Participation in the collective exhibition of Ruelle sur Touvre with my series ELLES
2024 - Coupe de France color photo by club (A special jury prize).
