Bekim Betoni’s visual language is influenced by internet media and the fragmented perception through endless digital exchange. Today AI has transformed that relationship where images are increasingly generated and mediated by machines. His practice involves the use of algorithmic processes and industrial printing methods to reflect on his work in Caribbean media and advertising. The result is an appropriation of colour theory that mimics the computerized affects of synthetic media. Through abstraction, digital media, and immersive visual systems, his work explores how identity, memory, and cultural experience are shaped by evolving technologies. Bright colour fields and fractured geometries reflect the tension between human presence and synthetic media in a hyperconnected world.
Bekim Betoni Rauseo is a Caribbean-based brand strategist using design-thinking methods to help creative industry businesses succeed.
