Born in 1977, Laure Bernard lives and works in Paris. Her photography attempts to approach the image with a novel eye: that of a woman fascinated by the aesthetic of a raw beauty that conveys the humanity of her subjects. The underlining leitmotif of her work brings an aesthetic interpretation to more obscure storytelling.
The scope of her work varies from artists' portraits to fashion editorial. Her clients include the rock/cultural magazine Keith, French Elle, and various advertising agencies. An avid traveler, her passion for escape has lead her through the Middle-East, Africa, India and Asia, culminating in an epic work entitled Build Me Up, a book and photography exhibit taking her audience into the world of boxing, in partnership with fashion designer Agnès B.
