Ricardo Nunez

I am an illustrator based in Colombia. I studied Graphic Design and I have been working for companies around the world. In 2009 I decided to change my profession for what I really love to do: Illustration. It was in Australia when and exhibition of the film director Tim Burton was held in the ACMI (Australian Centre for moving Image) in which the museum opened a contest of illustration in which Tim Burton himself was going to be the jury. To my surprise I was part of the finalist in between more that three hundred other artworks.

Since there I started to dedicate more time to illustration and back in Colombia I opened and exhibition called Exquisite Corpse which has been exhibited in Colombia, Cuba and now in London and soon will be held in Greece.

Now I am completely dedicated to illustration and painting. I have donde illustration for books and have won advertising prices in Australia and Colombia thanks to my artwork.
