I have created and sold art from as early as elementary school. I attended a the magnet art program at South Miami Elementary and Middle School, where I was part of a dedicated art studio class. In high school, I focused more on photography, but soon got back into painting and drawing. I studied graphic design for a little over a year at IFAC (International Fine Arts Institute) in Miami, before switching to a full time study of architecture. I fell in love with the challenges and complexity of architecture, and took my career on that path. Today, I own my own architecture firm, Herrera Studio. My entire life, I have continued to enjoy painting and hand drawing.
