Daria Pietryka (1983) / Visual artist, architect and scenographer. She is a graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Wrocław, The School of Architecture at University College Dublin and Wrocław University of Science & Technology, Faculty of Architecture. She operates on the perimeter of visual arts and architecture.
She observes relations between ecosystem created by humans and things that are uncontrollable, wild, and out of human impact. Through her works she also studies human relations in micro and macro scale, as well as how gradually, through the times a role of women in a tissue of society changes.
A graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Wrocław, Faculty of Interior Design and Designing, the School of Architecture at University College Dublin and the Wrocław University of Science & Technology, Faculty of Architecture. Since 2014 she has been running her own studio MIEJSCA (Places).
Her individual exhibitions have been shown inter alia at the Gallery of Art in Legnica, MOS in Gorzów Wlkp, Galeria M and CK Agora in Wrocław, The Mill Theatre Dublin. She has also taken part in numerous group shows, including Gallery BWA in Rzeszów, Gallery Test in Warsaw, Art Fair 2013' Wrocław, D-light Studios Dublin, Waterfront Belfast, BWA Awangarda Wrocław.
