Gianluca Stumpo

Gianluca Stumpo ( s. Giovanni in Persiceto -Bologna - [Italy], 1980) After the art diploma he graduates in painting at Bologna Clementine Academy under the tutorship of Davide Benati. Most then real artist he expresses with strong determination, the ups and downs of the daily life. His warm and harmonic chromatic palette interprets to the perfection the exuberance of unusual scenes of metropolitan life. He refuses the conventional escapes and represents one of the few stalwarts able to oppose to whom makes of inconsistent painting a shield to hide its limits. He takes advantage from the interiors of Edgard Degas, he expresses with exuberating noblesse the balance of spaces in which moves misery and wealth of daily life. The exhibition of the beggar "Rich", contemplating a gorgeous showcase, as well as the elegant room hued of warm light where the "satisfied" Mrs. bends at an open-wide window, means that life, in its complexity, is not just a reality searching for satisfactions, and wishes to realize.
