Tsvetana Yvanova

This Bulgarian born American artist, lives and works in California.

Tsvetana Yvanova is a multifaceted Artist, Sculptor, and Designer.Inspired by the versatility of DaVinci, and the mastery of Gianlorenzo Bernini, Tsvetana sought formal instruction in Art while still earning her Masters degree in Landscape Architecture.She studied with fine art with Prof. Angelakov, one of the best art instructors at the Sofia Art Academy "Nickolay Pavlovich". In the US, she enrolled and attended the MBA program of one Graziadio School of Business, Pepperdine University. Her artistic career began as a fashion designer, a profession she stil practices on consultant bases. In sculpture her American instructor Max Turner trained Tsvetana in the classical figurative sculpture school. In her painting the stylistic departure in favor of the contemporary style is all too apparent. The process drives her painting style itself abstract themes, large scale, and mixed mediums. These canvases are unique in that manner, that they reflect a long and tedious process of many layers of flowing paint.
