Monika Hobor

My name is: MóniKa Hóbor. In Hungary Born in Pécsen on December 28, 1972, I have studied and I live in Hungary.

During my research phase, I quickly realized that my way of expressing myself artistically could only be based totally on instinct. Taking any other approach than that of instinct results in an insurmountable wall for me. It does not allow my artistic expression. Hence, my preference for abstract painting, although this is not an exclusive choice.

Everything has to start from an idea or rather from a suggestion of a real or imaginary vision, and it must come to the canvas without anything interrupting the creation: no logical process, no rationality, no superstructure.



Only instinct and spontaneity allow me to concretize my work.
